Here is an article by a concerned mother Jennifer Gish at timesunion.com. She is taking a poll of her readers to see how long she has until her children start climbing out of their cribs.
How long will they stay in their cribs?
July 2, 2010 at 8:35 am by Jennifer GishShe can reach into her crib, but when will she be able to climb out?
Given I have two toddlers in my house, I’m hoping Andrew and Matilda stay in their cribs until they’re, oh, I don’t know, 4.
Not possible, I know. My mother is constantly warning me that they’re going to start trying to climb out soon. But so far, though they can get their legs up pretty high on the railing, they don’t seem strong enough to vault over yet. I just dread the time when they’ll be able to hop out of bed and roam freely through even the nursery. Yesterday afternoon, when they were supposed to be playing, I caught them both standing on top of the radiator cover with the roll-up blind pulled down over them.
Two heads are more dangerous than one, I tell you.
So I just want to take an informal poll so I know how long I can enjoy these crib-bound days. When did your kids move into toddler beds?
